Goed Hotel met super fijn Rif! We hebben erg genoten van ons Verblijf in Utopia Beach Club.
De Kamers zijn groot en schoon, wel al een beetje oud.
Service was al beter, maar we komen voor het Huisrif van dit Hotel.

Hotel inmenso y espectacular. Habitaciones amplias y completas. Limpias y modernas. Muy amables los de la recepción y restaurantes. Piscinas amplias, para adultos y niños. Actividades todo el día para todas las edades. Comida variada, cada noche es una cocina tradicional de un país distinto. Salida a la playa directa, con una pasarela para ir a una parte más profunda. Muy bien all inclusive. Muy recomendable.

Готель гарний, інтерʼєр номерів та територія красиві, хоча знаходиться дещо далеко від цивілізації. Навколо готелю нічого немає, місто далеко. Ми, наприклад, не знайшли аптеку, до міста машиною 25-30 хвилин їзди. До аеропорта Марса Алам - 1-1,5 години їзди машиною. Але обслуговування ввічливе та уважне, і персонал ресепшн, ресторана, пляжа, клінінг, усі дуже ввічливі та уважні, спілкуються англійською. Їжа у ресторані смачна, хоча трохи одноманітна, лиш на вечерях додають щось іноді. В барах не вистачало свіжих соків, саме свіжих… і різноманітності коктейлів, нам подавали коктейлі з сиропів з льодом, як правило. Хотілося би щоб трохи більше доглядали пляж. В морі корали з острівками піску. Усі купаються з пірса. Не вистачало розваг та умов для дітей. Загалом чисто, красиво, спокійно. Ми відпочили і не проти були б відпочити ще. Дякую готелю за прекрасне місце, куди можна втікти від гамору міста.

Очень уютный и чистый отель. Очень вкусная еда, особенно выпечка. Персонал невероятно доброжелательный и внимательный. Отель расположен прямо на берегу моря. Море теплое, чистое. Рекомендую отель к посещению. Это моя вторая поездка в этот отель и с каждым разом он становится только лучше.

Nous étions déjà venus en 2014, le séjour avait été très agréable...ce qui ne fut pas le cas de notre séjour de 9 jours en septembre 2022 !
L'hôtel est vétuste dans son ensemble, aussi bien les chambres que les extérieurs.
La nourriture est variée mais très axée sur l'Italie (hôtel occupé principalement par des italiens). La qualité est cependant à revoir puisque nous avons été malades 5 jours.
L'accueil laisse à désirer et l'équipe managériale est à revoir dans la gestion des problèmes et le manque de considération de la clientèle.
En effet, les voisins du dessus ont vomi sur notre terrasse, le manager pour seule résolution du problème nous a dit qu'ils partaient le soir même. Ces voisins sont restés toute la durée de notre séjour...

BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted.
The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes.
We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along.
There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus).
The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet).
Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

We had to move rooms as we had no hot water … but they moved us no problem.
The outside areas are lovely … bars around the pools … the only suggestion would be to have nibbles and also ice has to be available … the beach bar no ice at all again this is a no brainer.
The food needs overhauling by a chef … hot food generally not hot enough. No chips for kids .. no burgers … the menu needs changing and the cooks need training from a chef
The quality of the food needs a lot of improvement… many guests not happy one said it was a culinary catastrophe, a lot started eating out.
When you get there you are given a coloured wrist band and the staff will see you are a new arrival.
I saw new arrival guests get approached by on site staff selling , massages,nail and beauty makeovers,trips,and ice creams … as many as 5 approaches in 10 minutes.
In 5* hotels these people are at stations around the hotel and when guests are ready they go to these stations .. they don’t get hounded …the massage guy approached me 3-4 times a day.
Some of the trips need vetting
The service was ok and all the staff was friendly … the animation team need new outfits .. I couldn’t really see what they did to be fair .. no games to get people involved.
Overall it was a nice stay .. but there is a lot to work on .. I hope they will see this honest review and make changes … it could be a 4-5* but it will
only be a 3* if they don’t make changes

ผผู้เข้าพักThe room was so spacious, I was a solo traveler, but the room was big enough for 4 people. The room had its own walk in closet, and the bathroom was great. Shower space was huge, also had a spot to sit/ lie down whilst showering. There was also a nice balcony overseeing the resort. The rooms were cleaned everyday, I had a guy named Sabary cleaning my room, who is a top bloke, extremely hard working, and he could speak 4 languages (Arabic, English, Russian and German). He tried his absolute best to keep the rooms clean, and to ensure you were enjoying yourself. The food was great, there was a huge variety, the aqua park and pools were awesome. Everything about this resort was just brilliant.
